About Us
My name is Ken Armstrong, I'm a graphic artist from Ontario, Canada. I was bullied as a kid - but not nearly as badly as some people. I think most of us have been bullied in one form or another. Perhaps that's why some bullies pick on people - I don't know. I worked with a company previously on a Stop Bullying t-shirt that was really successful, but some complex issues led to it's shut down quite some time ago...and the Stop Bullying 'project' stopped.
Now, a couple years later - I've redesigned the Stop Bullying shirt and am bringing it back with my partner - hoping to make a difference out there by spreading the word that bullying is not ok and has to stop - one shirt at a time!
Goals
Our goal is to get our shirt out there - as many as possible. It's an awesome way to make a statement! Once it gets some traction we'd like to donate a portion of sales to a legitimate center that helps victims of bullying.
The Shirt Design
- A universal symbol for STOP... The hand!
- The number 7... A lucky number to some - a positve number to others!
- Crossed out fist...an often brutal part of bullying - physical violence - Stop!
- The friendship chain link...We need friends - not enemies!
- Teasing, threats, pushing, hitting, and gossiping...some reminders of different forms of bullying!
